A successful show horse is dependent not only on a strong sire but also on an adept and worthy dam. Nearly all of our broodmares have impressive show records themselves, and we are thrilled that in 2014 we had the opportunity to bring home our first Ledyard bred broodmare.
Three of our broodmares have been inducted into the AMHA Broodmare Hall of Fame for foaling World Champion offspring. To be eligible for induction into the Hall of Fame, each broodmare must produce three World Champion offspring. This means their children must go on to win a World Champion class at the Grand National and World Champion Horse Show. This show is held every year in Oklahoma City.
Only a total of seventy mares in the world have met this requirement. To reach this amazing achievement is a great honor to all involved. We are so pleased to have these legends on our farm. We would like to extend the sincerest thanks to the vets, trainers and staff who have helped them reach this outstanding goal. We are also so appreciative of all the people who have bought their offspring and continued to show them at the World Campion level and make their mamas proud.
Congratulations to FRF Stolen Moment, Graywood's Epona, and Dutch-Mor's Joy for being inducted into the AMHA Broodmare Hall of Fame!
