Ledyard Farms was fortunate enough to hire one of the nation's best known Chicken Managers - shown here rounding up his herd.
We have an assortment of chickens at Ledyard including a red-feathered laying flock of hens and a flock of rare breed hens and roosters. Some of the breeds in our collection include Delaware, Polish-crested, Americauna, Wyandotte, Cochin, Asia Blue, and Barred Rock.
All of our chickens get to spend their days in the fresh air and sunshine, coming into the coop to roost at night. We collect their eggs each morning, and those are available in our farm stand area on a self-serve cash basis.
