Epona not only earned the prestigious title of New England Grand Champion Mare in 2006, but she did it as a yearling- additionally she was 2006 Reserve World Futurity Yearling Filly and Grand Champion Mare at the 2008 Mid-Atlantic Show. Trained and shown by Waterford Farm, she had a great season in the Junior English Pleasure division ending with a Reserve title in the prestigious NYSSA Park/Pleasure Sweepstakes. Her foals are consistently stunners who wear themselves well and love the spotlight. Her 2011 black colt Lucky Lucas won the inaugural $10,000 Breeders Challenge Champion as a four year old in the same New England arena his mother had so much success in nine years before. "Epona" was inducted into the AMHA Broodmare Hall of Fame as a result of producing World Champion offspring.
